Balls to the wall?
Been a while since I made a post. Fat loss has been up and down. Went to Europe for 3 weeks in July and maintained my weight at 93 kg. I did body weight workouts in the morning there. Then it was Sarawak in September for my birthday. Flew over to get inked. And now it’s post Deepavali season. Shit loads of food and sweet stuff. We Indians love our sugary goodness. And my weight is back at 98 kg as of this morning!! Well, it was 99 kg last night but I usually weigh myself in the morning. I am contemplating going balls to the wall like I did in the beginning but I loathe the chicken and tuna only diet. Gotta get that in check. So my resolution is to make the next post only when I hit 90 kg! So wish me luck. Should be a breeze…
Oh! On a brighter note, I had decided to try the Dorian Yates’ Blood and Guts 6 weeks program. It’s was a bulking program rather than a cutting one. So after 6 weeks, I weighed myself at home… went from 93 to 97. I was like “okay… let’s try the thingamagic machine in the gym”. Results: 3 kg increase in muscle and 1 kg increase in fat. Not too bad… So now I’m back on my cutting routine with full body circuits. Only downside is that i’ve gotta forego squats due to my hip flexor injury. So balls to the wall I shall.
Strength increased significantly. Dumbbell bench press went up 10lbs. As did deadlifts. Kinda expected after a bulk. Hopefully I can maintain this while cutting.
